EDE 410 - Field Experience III This course is composed of a directed teaching and seminar experience. Seminar is designed to provide personal and professional support during a teacher candidate’s directed teaching experience. Seminar begins with intensive training focused on co-teaching strategies and the MEES evaluation tool followed by weekly meetings throughout the semester. Teacher candidates are placed in an elementary school setting under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and university supervisor, assuming the role and responsibilities of lead teacher in-and-out of the classroom. Prerequisite(s): EDE 360A and EDE 360B with at least a grade of “B”. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 10 Credits: 12
