SW 405 - Human Behavior and Social Environment II This course examines theories designed to understand the ecological person-in- environment perspective while providing students with a better understanding of the interdependence of biological, cognitive, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors which influence human behavior, development and functioning across the life span. This course specifically focuses on middle adulthood through death in old age. Students closely examine a range of social systems and the ways in which these systems promote or deter people from achieving and maintaining health and well-being. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the BSW program. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 3
