EDS 410 - Field Experience III This course is composed of a directed teaching and seminar experience. Seminar is designed to provide personal and professional support during a teacher candidate’s directed teaching experience. Seminar begins with intensive training focused on co-teaching strategies and the MEES evaluation tool followed by weekly meetings throughout the semester. Teacher candidates are placed in a high school setting under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and university supervisor, assuming the role and responsibilities of lead teacher in-and-out of the classroom. Prerequisite(s): EDS 360A and EDS 360B with at least a grade of “B”. Note: Student must pass appropriate Missouri Content Assessment before enrolling in Directed Teaching with Seminar. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 10 Credits: 12
