HIS 302 - War and Technology The phenomenon of war is among the most persistent, complex, and important of all human interactions. Since war began, humans have endeavored to seek more effective ways to kill one another. These efforts have resulted in revolutions in technology and technique that have played a key role in the rise of the nation-state and in shaping the modern world. This course offers the student of military history an opportunity to come directly to grips with fundamental changes in the technology of war and in the revolution in military affairs debate.
