AR300 - Graphic Design Principles II: Typography & Design An introduction to typography as a formal, functional and expressive medium of communication. Building from the study of individual letterforms through words and paragraphs, skills are gained in spatial organization, information architecture, hierarchy, legibility, readability and expression. Critical thinking and craftsmanship are emphasized. Prerequisite(s): AR144 and AR218 Note: This course is designed to be taken the same semester as AR231 .
