FW400 - Internship in Fitness and Wellness All internships must be approved before the internship begins. The internship will consist of observation and work in a professional environment and must reflect appropriate work for a college graduate. Students may use internship to observe in a clinical professional such as a physical therapist or chiropractor only if they intend to enter graduate study in that profession immediately upon graduation. Students will work with their site supervisor and their internship instructor to create learning objectives and plan skill building activities to complete within the internship. Students will reflect on their completed internship experience and professional development in a written essay. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing Repeatable for Credit Internship can be repeated to earn a maximum of 6 credit hours at the discretion of the PC. The 6 credits can occur within a single semester or in two separate semesters. Lecture Hours: 0 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 3-6
