NUR357 - Gerontology This course focuses on the concepts of aging in society and strategies to assist older adults achieve optimal quality of life. Social, economic, and health service implications on health policy and society are analyzed. Physical, psychological, sociocultural, economic, and spiritual needs of older adults are explored. Respect, support and delivery of palliative and end-of-life care is emphasized.
