HC262 - Introduction to Statistics in Healthcare Administration This course provides an introduction to the study of statistics used in healthcare assessment, utilization of published healthcare research statistics, and application of internal organizational healthcare statistics in managerial decisions. This course covers basic concepts of probability, descriptive and inferential statistics, and using statistics for decision making in healthcare administration. Emphasis is placed on measures of central tendency and dispersion, correlation, regression, discrete and continuous probability distributions, quality control population parameter estimation, and hypothesis testing.
