NUR338 - Health and Physical Assessment This combined theory and laboratory course prepares students to perform comprehensive and focused health assessments on an adult populations and developmental considerations across the lifespan. Analyze the impact of normal and abnormal physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle changes on the individual’s health. Develop health promotion strategies to address safety and health risks. Emphasis is placed on using effective communication techniques, maintaining an individual’s personal and social dignity, and providing client-centered care. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the BSN major Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 1 Credits: 4
