PA590 - Population, Land Use and Municipal Finance Communities make use of a vital resource – their land. As a key to local economic development, and for some the single most important single resource available to city leaders, land use is emphasized in this investigation into the relationship between land use, city finances and economic development planning. This course examines the relationship between land use and economic development policies, land use and population geography, the impact of land use change on public revenues and expenditures, and land use and City Master Plans.
