EN106 - First Year Writing Seminar II First-Year Writing Seminar II develops academic reading and writing skills with an emphasis on research and analysis. Students will deepen their ability to read closely and analyze academic and nonacademic texts, attending to audience, purpose, genre, and context. The course focuses on finding and evaluating sources for credibility and relevance, integrating materials effectively and ethically, and composing longer written and multimodal projects. Students will practice drafting, peer review, and revision and deepen their understanding of academic integrity in contemporary research and writing.
