LS210 - Critical Approaches to Information


In this course, students will develop the skills and strategies needed to find, evaluate, and use information effectively. They will engage with a variety of sources, from scholarly to popular, with particular focus on designing purposeful research strategies, assessing credibility and arguments, and selecting sources to support a specific purpose. Ethical information use is emphasized throughout, preparing students to responsibly participate in academic, professional, and everyday information environments.
