DEM 588 - Current Issues in Homeland Security This course provides an interdisciplinary survey of contemporary issues in homeland security designed to help learners understand the “cross-talk” between the various disciplines in the homeland security project as well as the influences, demands, and interactions of the law. In addition to the agencies within the Department of Homeland Security, the homeland security mission requires support from local, state, tribal, and federal law enforcement. As such, this course is intended to address the interoperability, collaboration, and law related to domestic and international criminal terrorism. Credits: 3
