PS300 - Research Methods in Psychology Research Methods is a critical thinking skills class. The main goal is to build your skills as a consumer of research as you overview the scientific approach to studying psychological topics. By understanding research methods in psychology, you will learn to approach the world in a more systematic and scientific manner. This course critically examines issues related to evaluating psychological literature, formulation of research problems and questions, study design, sampling, measurement, survey construction, data collection, analysis and interpretation, and communication of results.
