EDC220 - Child Growth and Development for Early Childhood and Elementary Teachers A study of the growth and development of children, birth through adolescence. Emphasis will be placed on theoretical ideas, contemporary multicultural dimensions of development and child-rearing, and their implications for teachers. Students will spend a total of 15 hours contact hours (5 hours per age group) in each of the following early childhood settings: Infant or toddler, pre-primary, and early elementary (K-3).
