SW400 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment I This course examines theories designed to understand the ecological person-in- environment perspective while providing students with a better understanding of the interdependence of biological, cognitive, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual factors which influence human behavior, development and functioning across the life span. This course specifically focuses from conception through young adulthood. Students are further introduced to a range of social systems and the ways in which these systems promote or deter people from achieving and maintaining health and well-being.
