FW215 - Tactical Conditioning I Learn to create and facilitate evidence based physical conditioning programs to meet the specific needs of tactical occupations including law enforcement, fire, and military. The course begins by comparing the pros and cons of various training and lifting methods and advancing students’ ability to effectively coach resistance training and conditioning programs. Lastly, programming considerations are discussed to help tactical athletes attain and maintain high levels of fitness while reducing the risk of burnout, overtraining, and injury. Prerequisites: FW210 Work Physiology. Prerequisite(s): FW 210 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 3
