AR231 - Graphic Design Studio I An introductory class that prepares students with basic hand skills through drawing and presentations, introduces typography, layout, vocabulary technique, and the process of critique to produce professional graphic design projects. Selected topics in design, i.e. perception, figure/ground; shape, visual dynamics, Gestalt principle; fundamentals of the design process: research, thumbnails/ roughs, comprehensive, presentations.
