EDC341 - Professionalism and Program Management in Early Childhood Education A course examining professionalism in early childhood education (including involvement in the field of early education, upholding ethical standards and professional guidelines, engaging in critical perspective engaging in advocacy) and issues of management in early childhood programs (including supervision and collaborative learning; planning environments, curriculum and evaluation procedures; health, safety, nutrition; guidance and classroom management; professional decision-making; and working with families and community). Students will visit and participate in a variety of different programs serving children from birth through third grade. Prerequisite(s): EDC220 and EDC222 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 3
