HIS 455 - Senior Seminar Paper The Senior Seminar Paper permits students to develop, research, write and defend a major essay, composing of 25-30 pages, of original historical research on a topic of their choice. This course is the culmination of their major and builds on training and writing completed in the earlier history courses. Students will work closely with one member of the Program of History. The student will defend and discuss their seminar paper during their Senior Oral Comprehensive Examination. Prerequisite(s): EN 105 , EN 106 , and completion of minimum of 90 credit hours. Note: This course will satisfy the EN 306* requirement. Liberal Education: Professional Writing Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 3
