MI 226 - Leadership and Teamwork This course focuses on self-development guided by knowledge of self and group processes. Experiential learning activities are designed to challenge students current beliefs, knowledge and skills. This semester takes the approach of placing students in a wide variety of group exercises designed to emphasize various leadership competencies and insights. The instructor, acting as facilitator, helps guide student processing of the events to derive the leadership, group dynamics and problem solving lessons that the exercises offer. Practical “life skills” are emphasized throughout. Prerequisite(s): MI 116 , MI 126 , and MI 216 or the consent of the Department Chairperson. Corequisite(s): To be taken concurrently with MI 212 . Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 2
