SW 670 - Leadership, Supervision and Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Social Work This course prepares students for the changing context of specialized social work practice by preparing students to become supervisors, managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs in the field. Students will explore their strengths in order to identify an area of specialty, or niche in social work practice. Students will gain an understanding of their leadership style as it pertains to working in supervisory roles in organizations and communities. Students will become familiar with all aspects of establishing their own business or private contracting practice. This course assesses Social Work EPAS competencies 1, 6. Credits: 3
